The April figures for the Swedish clothing market were published this morning. According to Svensk Handel, sales were up 2.9% from last year. Despite the fact that Easter fell in April, warmer weather and growth in e-commerce boosted sales. In the first three months of the year, the market has grown around 2%. 

Lindex's Q1 result was weak as logistics issues weighed on the Lindex division. Full-year guidance was reiterated, but we lowered our forecast towards the lower end of the range

Lindex Group published its interim report for the first quarter. The result for the period was weaker than both the comparison period and our expectations. CEO Susanne Ehnbåge comments on the main points of the report and the challenges the company faces in the market in an interview by Lucas Mattsson.

Lindex Group's Q1 result missed the comparison period and our estimates. This was due to lower-than-expected revenue and earnings in the Lindex division, weighed down by challenges related to the transition of logistics centers.

Lindex Group will report its Q1 results on Tuesday, April 29 at around 8:30 am EEST. We predict that the group's revenue will be flat year-on-year and that adjusted EBIT will improve slightly.

The March figures for the Swedish clothing market were published this morning. Sales grew by 6.5% from last year.

Revenue from department store and hypermarket chains declined by 1% in February. The best performing product group was food, where sales remained at the level of the comparison period and which may have been negatively affected by delivery days but also by a few days of strikes in grocery stores.
